PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Back Handspring and Tumbling program includes skills and drill for Round-Offs, Back Handsprings, Front Tumbling, and Back Tumbling. The students will work on equipment including spring floor, resi pit, free foam pit, trampolines, and specialized mats.

Creative warm-ups start each class hour to motivate and fascinate children. Lesson plans include return stations to allow for independent learning and movement. All of the students receive exclusive posters to track their progress and educate parents and students about the curriculum.

BEGINNER BACK HANDSPRING & TUMBLING
1st Grade and Older, co-ed (1 hour)

This class is for new students or for students still progressing on the Beginner Back Handspring and Tumble program.  Students will learn the basics of tumbling including forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, handstands, and back handsprings.

INTERMEDIATE BACK HANDSPRING & TUMBLING
1st Grade and Older, co-ed (1 hour)

This class is for students who have completed the Beginner Back Handspring and Tumble program.  Students will learn more advanced tumbling skills leading up from Beginner Back Handspring including Front Limbers, Backbend Kick-overs, Front Handsprings, Round-off Back Handsprings, Front flips, and aerials.

ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE BACK HANDSPRING & TUMBLING
1st Grade and Older, co-ed (1 hour)

This class is for students who have completed the Intermediate Back Handspring and Tumble program.  Students will learn more advanced tumbling skills leading up from Intermediate Back Handspring including Back tucks, Roundoff Back Handspring tucks, Front handspring and Front tuck tumbling and more.
